Free the P!

It's been three days of relentless bombing. And it seems like a ground invasion by Israel is on the cards. Gaza is burning once again, as the world watches in utter silence. Well I shouldn't say silence, because there have been protest's, mostly in the Arab world and in the UK. But the leaders of the world including those of Arab and Muslim countries have been dumb shit silent (with the exception of Iran course).*

As the new year approaches, and the new buzz word Change is everywhere, Gazan's and Palestinians are feeling the full force of democratic election politics. I have been trying to turn my anger in to productivity (if only for my own sanity) recently. So I won't go off about the hypocrisy when it comes to valuing brown, Muslim lives over Israel'i lives (apparently the current score is 200+ and counting to 1). Because I know this is bigger than death toll mathematics. I won't be indigent about the lack of substantial response from the President elect of the US. I gave up on his foreign policy a long time ago. And I won't let myself seethe in despair.

Here's a shout out to The Philistines, and their track Free the P! Their work is an inspirational reminder of what a few individual's can do to break the silence, even when situated outside their motherland and the active site of struggle.
